Heading home from our “marathon” weekend. It was lots of fun with our race and visiting my family. But I can’t wait to see my Lovely Wife, BZL and JR. Of course there is also The Dog. Can’t wait to get home. Only a 14 hour drive and we are home!!!
278 to Boston
In July 2011, I weighed 278 lbs. On Mar 12, 2013 I made the decision to qualify for the Boston Marathon. This was my journey. Now I'm a recovering alcoholic, this is my new journey. I'm still running a marathon, just a different type.

Got home an hour ago. TJ and I talked on the way home about our next marathon. So many choices. My brother wants us to run the Shamrock Marathon in Virginia Beach next March. I just don’t know if I have enough vacation time to run it or not. I am ready to get back in the saddle though. Hopefully this weekend. 🙂
